Journal text is stored in your browser’s local storage. Meaning Catalog does not receive it. Anyone with access to your browser profile may be able to view it, and clearing browser data may erase it. Use Export JSON if you need a backup.
Advertising and Google AdSense
Meaning Catalog includes Google AdSense technology and is currently undergoing site review. Ads may not appear until Google approves the site. When advertising is active, Google and its partners may use cookies, local storage, IP addresses, device and browser information, and ad interaction data to deliver, measure, secure, and—where permitted—personalize advertising.
Google describes how it uses information from sites and apps that use its services in its partner-sites privacy notice. Meaning Catalog does not currently run a separate Google Analytics implementation.
Consent and advertising controls
Where consent is legally required, an advertising consent message may ask you to choose whether eligible advertising uses may proceed. Google also provides advertising controls through My Ad Center and browser cookie settings. Refusing optional advertising uses does not change access to Meaning Catalog’s public editorial content.
If collection changes
Community submissions, accounts, cloud sync, research participation, or a separate analytics product will require an updated notice and, where appropriate, a distinct opt-in flow. We will not quietly convert private journal entries into a content or training dataset.
Medical privacy
Do not use this site for emergencies or to store medical records. Meaning Catalog is an educational reflection tool, not a healthcare provider or diagnostic service.
